2014 Pediatrics Conference in Las Vegas Focuses on Clinical Care and Options for Better Outcomes

The program for the Annaul Conference on Chiropractic & Pediatrics to be held in Las Vegas October 16-18 has an exciting mix of clinical and practice-related topics with 14 excellent speakers.  DCs will learn more about toxins, dyslexia, pregnancy problems, managing the care of infants, and more from Drs. Lora Tanis, Sharon Vallone, Tracy Barnes, Ramneek Bhogal, Stephanie O'Neill and Christine Anderson, all experienced practitioners with advanced specialty education.

There is something for everyone, new DC or experienced practitioner. New faces on the Council's speakers' platform include Dr. Glen Maginnes. pediatric practitioner/educator from Australia who will discuss the medical and chiropractic management of kids with specific conditions; Dr. Chris Colloca, internationally recognized for his evidence-based lectures who will teach pediatric instrument adjusting; naturopath Dr. Ben Lynch who will discuss the implications of MTHFR and methylation dysfunction; coding expert Dr. Ted Arkfeld who will explain some of the changes with the new codes and how to prepare for the transition; risk management educator Barbara Bellioni who will discuss the ramifications of social media for health care professionals; Dr. John Maltby who will teach correct procedures for documenting cases; and Dr. Alan Lovejoy who will show DCs how to get involved in community health care.  Practitioners who are also doing humanitarian work in underserved countries and bringing hope and joy to kids in need will share their wonderful experiences and hopefully inspire others to do the same.
