14 hours of clinical lectures, technique workshops and research dscussions to highlight Pediatrics Symposium in Edinburgh, May 14-15, 2011
The ICA Pediatrics Council will be holding an exciting Symposium May 14-15 at the Radisson Blu Hote in Edinburgh, Scotland. The program is being co-sponsored by the Scottish Chiropractic Association. This is the 2nd Symposium presented by the ICA Pediatrics Council in the UK, the first one was held in London in 2009.
The program includes 14 hours of intensive clinical lectures, case management discussions and technique workshops. There is also a research segment to the program with an update on current pediatrics research, discussion of a research agenda and the presentation of papers selected via a Call for Papers.
Speakers Lora Tanis, DC, DICCP, Sharon Vallone, DC, FICCP, Brad Waters, DC, DICCP and Joyce Miller, DC, DABCO, FCC(UK) are all practitioners with extensive practice experience in caring for infants, children and pregnant women. Drs. Tanis, Vallone and Waters are also instructors on the DICCP postgraduate diplomate program in pediatrics offered in US and New Zealand/Australia leading to board certification, and Dr. Miller is the lead tutor for the MSc in Pediatrics at AECC.
DCs interested in a quality program and learning from practitioners with experience should register as soon as possible as attendance will be limited inorder to maximize the workshop experience which includes infant examinationa and adjusting; cranial amd myofascial techniques for pregnant women; and extremity adjusting, exercise and rehab for the adolescent involved in sports.
